CAISLEAN AN OIR (hornpipe)

"Caislean An oir" is a traditional hornpipe in D Dorian with two parts of 8 bars.
Here is a simple chord grid to use with chords int he key of C major.

However it is not very easy to play in C major in DADGAD, fortunately, the use of the capo offers us others possibilities, thanks to transposition.
For example, you put the capo in case 5 and then you play G major chords, it will sound in C (see the capo page). Here is a new grid, capo 5:

We can put the capo in case 3 and then play with A major chords :

Finally, in case 10 we can play with D major chords, remark your guitare must be well tuned in this part of the neck.

Whatever your choice between this four solutions, you will always play in C major. On the other hand it will sound each time different, it's up to you to choose what you like the most !
