WEST KERRY POLKA (polka)
The "West Kerry" is a traditional polka in E minor (Aeolian) with two parts of 8 bars each.
Let's start with a grid with just two chords:

We can change some D in the first part by their relative minor (Bm) and in the second part we can substitute a Em by a C major, and add a Bm:

We can add also some triplet in our rhythm (fig 7) using the samed grid.

Then, you can change your chords position, using always the same grid, to differenciate the first part and the second part. That will change the sound of your backing.
